What will be covered in this foundation course?

Reading Comprehension

Reading comprehension is not just important for the English section, but also for Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning and Legal Reasoning sections. The comprehension passages are 300 to 450 words long based on the section. We train our students to read and effectively interpret the passage in a timely manner. One must have an eye for detail and precision, yet adhere to a strict time schedule to come out as the best. We also help improve their grammar and vocabulary skills.

Quantitative and Logical Reasoning

Quantitative Reasoning is based on elementary maths and data interpretation. The students are taught maths up until the tenth grade level to provide the basics. They will be trained and tested on word problems, graphs, algebra, mensuration, etc. Logical reasoning questions are based on the provided passages and the inference we draw from reading it.

Current Affairs and General Knowledge

Contemporary national and international news are regularly discussed in the current affairs classes. Apart from the political, and economical issues, important legal cases, court rulings and changing policies are also discussed. Arts, culture and major historical events make up the general knowledge section.

Legal Reasoning

Legal reasoning is also a passage based section. The passages will be related to laws, public policies, philosophies, morals and legal issues. The candidates are taught to identify the principles and rules in the given paragraph, and ways to apply them to various situations. Discussing contemporary legal issues and policy regulations in the class provides them with real life examples to learn from.
